Site-specific sound performance
at Rain Machine #6 Installation by artist David Lemoine
CDA, Holon IL
2024
A 2-channel site-specific sound performance (20-min long) created for and performed at David Lemoine’s "Rain Machine No. 6" installation space - an artificial rain chamber. The work is based on a real-time constant dripping sounds collected from different spots around the space using contact and hydrophone mics. The drops gradually reveal excerpts of birds and drone-planes recordings that I’ve captured during the Israel-Hamas war, and later create short silences in my vocal harmonies.
